Kevin Tang started taking art lessons at the age of six. At the time, his parents hoped that the art lessons would serve as a creative outlet for his constant doodling. He experimented with pencil, charcoal, and watercolor before selecting oil paints as his primary medium of choice.

His favorite art movement is impressionism and artist is Vincent Van Gogh. These influences are well-reflected in his artistic style and his artwork, which consists primarily of landscapes. He is now experimenting with abstract expressionism.

His paintings have been accepted in journals and sold at charity fundraisers. He has also curated multiple art exhibits.

Kevin double majored in neuroscience and philosophy and minored in chemistry at the University of Pittsburgh. He graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in neuroscience in 2016.

He completed medical school at Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University. Currently, he is a third year internal medicine resident physician at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

He is also a very talented ultimate player. He won the USAU D-1 College National Championship in 2013. His other hobbies include photography, basketball, cooking, and hiking. He is an amateur animated film critic.
